11Kv Substation on MOD site

The substation was constructed to support electrical infrastructure and distribute renewable energy throughout the 600 acre camp by connecting a 650m high voltage cable and 11000v transformer to the remainder of the camp that has been in situ since 2015.

The substation helps distribute 1,000,000 kilowatts of renewable energy generated through high quality solar panels to the new headquarters and St Georges regional headquarters.

This secures discounted clean energy to the camp through the power purchase agreement for the next 25 years.
