PROJECT OVERVIEW
Client: HMS Eaglet
Location: Liverpool
Project Partner: Rolec
Duration: 4 Weeks (from design approval to installation)
EV CHARGERS
The project aimed to design and install 10 state-of-the-art 22kW EV chargers on-site, enabling HMS Eaglet to support EV adoption and align with broader sustainability goals. The solution needed to integrate seamlessly with the existing infrastructure while adhering to strict timelines and regulatory compliance.
PROJECT SCOPE
Task Contract Solutions worked collaboratively with Rolec Services, a leading EV charging solutions provider, to deliver a turnkey system. The scope included:
1. System Design:
Conducted an initial site survey to assess power availability and site logistics.
Developed detailed system designs tailored to the site’s requirements, including electrical layouts, load management strategies, and charger placement for optimal usability.
Ensured compliance with industry standards and HMS Eaglet’s specific operational needs.
2. Civil Engineering Works:
Excavation and groundwork for cable trenches.
High strength concrete used to cap off trenching.
3. Electrical Infrastructure:
Installed new distribution boards and cabling to support the chargers’ power demand.
Integrated load management systems to optimise energy distribution and prevent grid overload.
4. Project Management:
Oversaw every stage of the project, ensuring clear communication with HMS Eaglet and timely approvals.
Coordinated with stakeholders weekly to mitigate any disruptions to site operations.
5. Installation:
Deployed 10 x 22kW Rolec EV chargers with smart functionalities.
Conducted rigorous testing and commissioning to ensure seamless operation.
OUTCOME
Task Contract Solutions successfully delivered the project within the 4-week deadline, achieving the following outcomes:
Seamless integration of 10 x 22kW EV chargers with the site’s existing infrastructure.
Enhanced EV charging capacity, supporting HMS Eaglet’s sustainability goals and providing robust infrastructure for EV users.
A future-ready system that aligns with the UK’s broader net-zero emissions targets.
